Please note: As Midwest and our airline partner, Frontier Airlines, continue to expand our service from Milwaukee, there are more passengers than ever on our convenient morning departures. This is creating a "crunch" at the D Concourse security checkpoint at peak travel times. While we're working actively with the Transportation Security Administration, which have added staff at peak times, we could also use your help.

If you're scheduled to fly from Milwaukee on a morning flight (especially on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays) we strongly encourage you to arrive 90 minutes to two hours before your scheduled flight time. That way we can ensure that you're comfortably on board and depart on time. Thank you for your cooperation.

Milwaukee is a vacation destination of its own and gateway to Wisconsin’s North Woods. Amtrak’s Hiawatha offers seven daily roundtrips (six on Sunday) between Chicago and Milwaukee, all stopping at Amtrak’s station at Mitchell International Airport. Free shuttle service is available between the station (located next to the parking area) and the main terminal. The airport station offers convenient, easy access to Chicago-area travelers who want quality travel options without the inconveniences associated with travel out of O’Hare.
