Area Highlights

Restaurants:

Dallas has more restaurants per person than New York City – at least 7,000. Tex-Mex, barbecue, chili and steak are staples on Texas plates. Check rewardsnetwork.com/midwest for restaurant descriptions and prices for Dallas/Ft. Worth restaurants that also offer Midwest Miles for dining there.

The Arts:

You’ll find more than 160 museums, galleries and artistic attractions in Dallas, and more than 110 live performances nightly. It is considered to have the largest urban arts district in the country. Dallas boasts the oldest free Shakespeare festival in the Southwest.

Local Culture and Entertainment:

Ft. Worth is home not only to major league sporting events, but also to NASCAR and IndyCar racing at the Texas Motor Speedway. You’ll also find a real live, twice-daily cattle drive through town, authentic in every detail. Rodeos and working ranches are part of the cultural core. A number of rodeo venues are available including the Cowboys of Color Rodeo that brings America’s “forgotten cowboys” into center arena.
