Midwest Airlines Extends and Increases Orlando Service

Other Summer Service Enhancements Include Increased Frequency and Equipment Upgrades

Milwaukee, March 3, 2009 – Midwest Airlines today announced service enhancements to its summer flight schedule, including:
• The extension of the airline’s popular nonstop Milwaukee-Orlando service through the summer and the addition of a second daily nonstop flight beginning June 4.
• The addition of a fifth daily nonstop Milwaukee-Boston flight, also beginning June 4.
• The use of larger aircraft on Milwaukee-Kansas City-Los Angeles flights, starting May 1.

All service will be offered on Midwest Airlines’ Boeing 717 aircraft. The aircraft, which are specially configured to seat 99 passengers, feature Midwest Class – a seating option that combines the airline’s award-winning service and onboard amenities with two choices of seating in the same coach cabin. Buy-onboard Best Care Cuisine meals and baked-onboard chocolate chip cookies are available on most flights.

The airline is offering special pricing on the routes to introduce the service enhancements. Fares, which are each way based on roundtrip purchase, start at:
Milwaukee to/from Orlando – $89
Milwaukee to/from Boston – $94
Milwaukee to/from Los Angeles – $124
Kansas City to/from Los Angeles – $119

Terms and Conditions: Fares are each way based on roundtrip purchase. Tickets must be purchased by midnight, Central time, March 9, 2009. Tickets for travel to/from Los Angeles must be purchased at least 7 days in advance for travel March 10 through September 8, 2009; tickets to/from Orlando must be purchased at least 7 days in advance for travel May 1 through September 8, 2009, and tickets to/from Boston must be purchased at least 21 days in advance for travel June 4 through September 8, 2009. Seats are limited and may not be available when you purchase. Tickets are nonrefundable. Voluntary reservation changes incur a $100 service charge, as well as a possible fare increase to a non-promotional fare type. Fares shown reflect purchase at midwestairlines.com. A $25 fee per ticket will be assessed for tickets purchased through the Midwest Airlines Reservations Contact Center. A $30 fee per ticket will be assessed for tickets purchased at Midwest Airlines ticket counters or the Best Care Club. Fares do not include $3-18 per passenger airport fee required at some airports, $3.60 per segment fee per passenger, and the “September 11th Security Fee” of $5-10 per passenger. Toronto travel does not include Canadian taxes of up to $10, airport improvement fee of $17, navigation surcharge of $15, U.S. federal inspection fee of $7 and U.S. APHIS user fee of $5. A $15 fee is charged each way for the first piece of checked baggage and a $25 fee each way for the second piece of checked baggage.
