Milwaukee, August 28, 2009 – Two hometown companies are teaming up to provide Milwaukee-area movie patrons with a sweet treat. Beginning today, Marcus Theatres® will sell Midwest Airlines’ popular chocolate chip cookies as a test in four local theatre locations. Additional theatre locations may join the list of cinemas selling the cookies in the future.
Midwest Airlines introduced baked-onboard chocolate chip cookies in 1986 and since then has served tens of millions of the treats – which feature Ambrosia chocolate and real Wisconsin butter – to delighted passengers.
The cookies will be sold in freshly baked three-packs for $4. They will initially be available at:
• Menomonee Falls Cinemas, W180 N9393 Premier Lane, Menomonee Falls
• Ridge Cinemas, 5200 S. Moorland Rd., New Berlin
• South Shore Cinemas, 7261 S. 13th St., Oak Creek
• Southgate Cinemas, 3330 S. 30th St., Milwaukee
