Midwest Airlines Celebrates Return of Nonstop Milwaukee-Louisville Service With $136 Roundtrip Fares

Milwaukee, August 3, 2009 – To celebrate the return of nonstop service between Milwaukee and Louisville, Ky., Midwest Airlines has announced special pricing on the new route: $136 roundtrip. Tickets must be purchased at least 21 days in advance and by midnight, Central time, August 14, for travel August 18 through November 19, 2009.

The twice-daily service offers convenient connections to and from cities on Midwest’s route map. One-stop, same-plane service is available between Green Bay, Wis. and Louisville. Service is provided on 37-seat Embraer 135 aircraft, featuring all-leather seating, buy-onboard Best Care Café snacks and complimentary baked-onboard chocolate chip cookies.

Travel is valid on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday August 18 through November 19, 2009. A Friday- or Saturday-night stay is required. Seats are limited and may not be available when you purchase. Tickets are nonrefundable. Voluntary reservation changes incur a $100 service charge, as well as a possible fare increase to a non-promotional fare type. Fares shown reflect purchase at midwestairlines.com. A $25 fee per ticket will be assessed for tickets purchased through the Midwest Airlines Reservations Contact Center. A $30 fee per ticket will be assessed for tickets purchased at Midwest Airlines ticket counters or the Best Care Club. Fares do not include $3-18 per passenger airport fee required at some airports, $3.60 per segment fee per passenger, and the “September 11th Security Fee” of $5-10 per passenger. A $15 fee is charged each way for the first piece of checked baggage and a $25 fee each way for the second piece of checked baggage.
