Hot fares, sweet deals for summer

Milwaukee, May 5, 2009 – Midwest Airlines is offering hot fares and sweet deals for travel May 26 through Oct. 14, 2009. Purchase Tuesday, May 5 through midnight, Central time, on Friday, May 15 and at least 21 days in advance of travel. Travel to/from Orlando at these fares is valid May 26 through September 8, 2009.

Sale fares are available to and from the airline’s hubs in Milwaukee and Kansas City, with easy connections to cities throughout the United States. Tickets must be purchased at least 21 days in advance and by midnight, Central time, May 15, 2009, for travel May 26 through October 14, 2009. Travel to/from Orlando at these fares is valid May 26 through September 8, 2009. Travel at these fares is valid on Tuesday and Wednesday; slightly higher fares apply for travel on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. A minimum one-night stay may be required. Seats are limited and may not be available when you purchase. Tickets are nonrefundable. Voluntary reservation changes incur a $100 service charge, as well as a possible fare increase to a non-promotional fare type. Fares shown reflect purchase at midwestairlines.com. A $25 fee per ticket will be assessed for tickets purchased through the Midwest Airlines Reservations Contact Center. A $30 fee per ticket will be assessed for tickets purchased at Midwest Airlines ticket counters or the Best Care Club. Fares do not include $3-18 per passenger airport fee required at some airports, $3.60 per segment fee per passenger, and the “September 11th Security Fee” of $5-10 per passenger. Toronto travel does not include Canadian taxes of up to $10, airport improvement fee of $17, navigation surcharge of $15, U.S. federal inspection fee of $7 and U.S. APHIS user fee of $5. A $15 fee is charged each way for the first piece of checked baggage and a $25 fee each way for the second piece of checked baggage.
