Tim Hoeksema is chairman of the board of Midwest Air Group and chairman,
president and chief executive officer of Midwest Airlines. He was named
president of Midwest Airlines when the airline was incorporated in 1983. At that
time, the airline was a wholly owned subsidiary of K-C Aviation, itself a wholly
owned subsidiary of consumer products manufacturer, Kimberly-Clark Corporation.
Tim joined Kimberly-Clark Corporation in 1969, serving as first officer of the
company’s air transportation operations and, beginning in 1974, as chief pilot.
In 1977, he assumed dual responsibility as director of air transportation for
Kimberly-Clark Corporation and president of K-C Aviation. In addition to his
duties as president of Midwest Airlines, Tim was also appointed president of
Kimberly-Clark’s transportation sector in 1988.
Under Tim’s direction, the airline completed a highly successful initial
public offering in 1995. After 12 years as a publicly held company, Midwest Air
Group was acquired by TPG Capital in January 2008 and is now privately held.
Tim began his aviation career in 1968 as a flight instructor for the
University of Illinois at Champaign. He graduated summa cum laude from Western
Michigan University in 1972 with a bachelor of science in aviation engineering
technology. In 1977, he obtained a master’s degree in business administration
while on a Kimberly-Clark scholarship to the University of Chicago Executive
Program.
Tim serves on the boards of Skyway Airlines, the Metropolitan Milwaukee
Association of Commerce, the Greater Milwaukee Committee, The Marcus
Corporation, Spirit of Milwaukee and the Air Transport Association, and is a
member of the board of trustees at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Tim and his
wife, Jan, live in the Milwaukee area. The couple has three grown
children.
Curtis Sawyer

Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Curt Sawyer joined Midwest Air Group in September 2004 as senior vice
president and chief financial officer. His responsibilities include business
analysis, treasury, investor relations, tax, regulatory reporting, information
technology, purchasing and other financial-related functions.
Curt was formerly vice president and chief financial officer of Pinnacle
Airlines, operating as Northwest Airlink. Prior to that, he served as director
of aircraft transactions for Northwest Airlines. Earlier in his career, Curt was
senior vice president, chief financial officer and controller for Lend Lease
Trucks in Minneapolis. Additionally, he has held financial management positions
at Renaissance Cruises, Ryder System and Xerox Corporation.
His education includes a bachelor’s degree in economics from Stanford
University and a master’s of business administration in finance and
international business from the University of California at Berkeley. Curt and
his wife reside in the Milwaukee area. They have two grown children.
David Sislowski

David Sislowski is senior vice president and general counsel of Midwest
Airlines and also serves as secretary of the corporation. In his role, David
oversees all legal, regulatory and corporate governance matters, and will also
support the company’s government and community relations. He joined the company
on March 17, 2008.
Previously, David was senior vice president and general counsel of Frontier
Airlines, a position he held since 2002. Prior to joining Frontier, David was
the general counsel at two Denver asset-based finance institutions, where he was
responsible for overall operations as well as transaction structuring and
document negotiations. From 1993 to 1999, he served as vice president,
operations manager and corporate counsel for MetLife Capital Corporation in
Bellevue, Washington. During this time he was part of a team that identified,
negotiated and closed highly structured financial investments for the company.
He was in private law practice with the law firms of Bogle & Gates and
Davis, Wright Tremaine in Seattle from 1988 to 1993. His practice concentrated
on aircraft finance and other asset-based finance, including real property
secured and structured transactions.
He graduated from Case-Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio in 1976
with a degree in history and from the University of Washington School of Law in
Seattle in 1988 with a juris doctor degree. He previously resided in
Westminster, Colorado with his wife, Julie Babcock, and their two four-legged
children, Wookie and Harley, and is currently relocating to the Greater
Milwaukee area.
